Golfview Pool Home @ Southern Dunes

The villa was spacious and in a good location, however our stay was affected by several maintenance issues.The main issue was the sprinkler system, which sprayed directly towards the house and pool area with significant force for approximately 12 of our 14 nights. The sprinklers operated during the early hours of the morning, causing repeated sleep disturbance, and also affected our enjoyment of the pool area by soaking the surroundings and blowing dirt and debris into the outdoor space. Despite being reported early in our stay, the issue remained unresolved.The disruption became significant enough that we changed sleeping arrangements. My husband and I stopped using the master bedroom, and my cousin shared the twin room with my daughter so we could try to avoid being disturbed.Other issues included a garage with a strong damp smell and debris from previous flooding, broken blinds in multiple bedrooms, no working light in the twin bedroom just a lamp, pool area lights not working, only the simgle lught in the pool under the water, a screw protruding from a carpet runner creating a trip hazard, plastic mattress covers still on all mattresses, and a hairdryer that began smoking when switched on, almost going on fire. Whilst the management company responded to messages with a bit of delay, the main issues affecting our stay were not resolved and no one called to review and attempt to resolve. The overall experience was disappointing and below expectations.
